How To Take
There are two ways to take Shield. Pick the path that fits your body and where you are right now.
New to Shield or Sensitive Stomach:
- Start your morning with the Cocoa Drink Mix — Mix one Shield cocoa packet into 8 oz. of your favorite hot or cold liquid, or stir into Greek yogurt for a thicker, nutrient-rich start to your day
- Ease in with 1–2 Softgels per day — Take one softgel after each full meal for better tolerability and absorption. Ease in gently and give your body time to adjust before working up to the full dose
- Space out the softgels and cocoa — Take them at different times throughout the day, rather than together — so each one lands gently and gives your body time to process

Build up gradually as tolerated — Slowly increase to the recommended daily amount. Once you're there, staying consistent is what drives long-term benefit
Established Routine:
- Start your morning with the Cocoa Drink Mix — Mix one Shield cocoa packet into 8 oz. of your favorite hot or cold liquid, or stir into Greek yogurt or blend into a morning smoothie
- Take one Softgel after each full meal — Up to 3 softgels daily, one with each of your main meals. Taking them with food helps absorption and tolerability
- Use both, daily, for best results — The cocoa and softgels are designed to complement each other as part of one consistent, recovery-focused routine
